The
Spring Champs have been and gone. Were they successful? You Bet.
The hardworking committee did a great job in organising everything.
I prayed a lot and we did not get rain, although HE made a little
mistake with calculating the temperature. However some sensible
person announced summer dress when it became too warm for the
riders.
The hospitality tent
worked a treat. This year it was decided to have a temporary wooden
floor installed much to the enjoyment of all who used it. NO DUST!!
and level.

From my enquiries
there were no major disasters on the day with each area running
smoothly. There were a few minor hiccups but these were sorted out
pretty quickly without too much trauma. (We were there to have a
good time and enjoy our horses weren't we?)
It was a plesure to
see competitors attend the presentation at the conclusion of each
day's competition. The committee feel that it is only right for the
recipient or their representative to attend and receive their prize
as respect to the donating sponsor. It was very good to have
the majority of our sponsors present and participate in the
presentation of prizes.
There were numerous
tests receiving very good scores throughout both days of
competition.
From the committee
point of view everything went smoothly and nobody needed
counselling!!
I wish all the other
clubs all the best with their upcoming Club Championships.
