Located at the Strathalbyn Polo Grounds on Callington Road, Strathalbyn, the AHDC caters for all levels of competition from beginners to FEI.
The AHDC (Adelaide Hills Dressage Club) runs a competition once a
month. This happens on the second Sunday of each month. Occasionally
we have competitions over a weekend. These competitions are
advertised well in advance, enabling competitors to plan ahead. The
format is for a Club day on the Saturday and an Official EFA
Dressage competition on the Sunday, which includes Associate
Classes.
We hold both official, associate and club competitions. In addition, we run a combined training day each February competition day, incorporating dressage with a show jumping component. These have proven very popular over a number of years.
The AHDC hold their annual Spring Dressage Championships over
the second weekend in October. This competition includes
all classes from Preliminary to Grand Prix Level. This is our
largest competition for the year. We also intend to run several
riding clinics throughout the year with well known and user
friendly coaches.
The AHDC was founded on the basis of being a friendly, comfortable and welcoming club to any persons wishing to enjoy their dressage and their horses.
We as a Dressage club have an excellent leadership group and committee who give of their time and energy to keep this club at the level competitors expect.
The committee will do everything to ensure you enjoy you dressage in a safe, friendly and competitive manner. Our wish is for you to ENJOY your dressage. New members are always welcome with their horses and friends.
